MachineDB helps buyers research used machine tools before money changes hands.

The problem

Used machines are sold through dealers, auctions, closing shops and private sellers. Descriptions are short and optimistic. Photos are taken on good days. Buyers, especially first-timers, don’t know which questions expose the real condition.

Our approach

Treat every candidate machine like a record in a database. Gather the same fields for each one: identity, history, condition and test results. Then compare. Gaps in the record are information too.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell, list or appraise machines
• We don’t recommend sellers or brands
• We don’t promise any machine is sound; we help you ask better questions
